Freelance Cameraman and Editor in Tasmania

I'm a professional and experienced Tasmanian based freelance cinematographer and editor. I work in news, sport, current affairs, commercials, corporate videos, conferences, lifestyle and reality TV shows and other productions. I work as a cameraman and a shooter producer.

I am the only freelancer to own a TVU Pack for live crosses, and vision feeds to television stations and live production control rooms.

If you need a freelance cameraman or editor to film anything in Hobart, Tasmania or further afield please contact me on 0437 245 158 or email me through my Contact Page.

I can also produce your corporate video production or social media video to a high quality.

If you'd like to see work examples of long-form content from me across Australia, Tasmania or Asia, I'm happy to send you snippets if you request them through my contact page.

Adam Reibel Freelance Cinematographer Cameraman filming

David Brill AM ACS
Friend and Colleague of Adam, legendary Australian Cinematographer

Adam is an exceptional cinematographer with over 12 years of experience. He has done such variety of work as news, current affairs, documentaries, and corporate films.

He is an exceptionally gifted cinematographer who really cares and passionate about his work. Adam is technically excellent and has the best gear available for any shoot .

Adam also is a man that adds to a story. I don’t say this lightly, as I’ve had nearly 60 years of experience in filmmaking and his work stands out.

Adam is also very easy to work with and has great ideas to add to the story.

Gear List

Here’s a brief gear list of the equipment I own personally and use daily. I am proficient and experienced in using this at a professional level.

I understand that nowadays one camera does not fit all: the camera I use will be selected for the job. Filming a sports game or conference does not neccessarily mean a cinema-line camera.

Please note I also own a TVU Pack for live crosses and vision feeds to production facilities and newsrooms. I also have a Starlink to boost the reliability of the signal, given the fickle nature of Tasmania’s mobile connectivity and the remoteness of some locations.

Please note, unfortunately I don’t hire out gear. However, I can put you into contact with other people in Hobart that do.
